Minecraft's big Super Duper Graphics Pack is no more after two years of delays. Mojang has pulled the visual overhaul after deciding that it was "too technical and complex" to implement. The developers were not pleased with the performance of the upgrade across platforms, and decided to scrap the project instead of providing an inconsistent experience. The pack was intended to enable 4K on Xbox One X and to enhance the visual effects such as highlights, atmospheric effects, and water.DJ W360 There is still hope for a graphics update in the future. Mojang said it was "looking at different ways" to give Minecraft an updated look and that it would soon have news on improving the game's performance for different platforms. Minecraft won't remain with its current look (however beautiful it might be) for long however it could take a while before it is up to speed with the latest technology.
