RPP Thermal Protection Performance Tester
The Radiant Thermal Protection Performance Tester, commonly referred to as the RPP Thermal Protection Performance Tester, is used to determine the radiant thermal protection performance of single- or multi-layer textiles or other materials used to protect thermal clothing or components against radiant heat. The tester is a tool of limited applicability for evaluating the potential for second-degree skin burns from textiles.
