JIS rubbing color fastness tester
The JIS rubbing color fastness tester is a testing machine based on the rubbing tester type II (learning vibration shape) specified in the rubbing color fastness test method (JIS L0849) in the Japanese Industrial Standard Textile Color Fastness Test Method. It is mainly used for evaluating and judging the color fastness to rubbing of dyed fiber products. This instrument is also suitable for flocking strength test of flocked fabrics, friction and decolorization test of artificial leather, friction resistance and abrasion test of cardboard, printing ink, paint, etc. It is a friction tester that can be applied to a variety of materials.
Sample preparation:
The size of the sample is about 220*30mm, and it is cut parallel to the warp and weft directions. The size of the white cotton for friction is about 50*50mm.
When the sample is a silk thread, a rectangular plate of about 220*30mm is used, which is tightly wound in a thin layer according to its long side direction, or is properly woven and used as a sample.
During the drying test, the sample and the white cotton cloth for friction should be prepared in advance in a standard state for more than 4 hours.
During the wetting test, the white cotton cloth used for friction is wetted with water to make it wet, and the sample is placed in the standard state for preparation.
