New xenon lamp aging tester in accordance with ISO 105-B04
The xenon lamp aging tester is a full-featured, full-size, floor-mounted xenon lamp tester. It uses the xenon lamp as the light source, which can * best simulate the full spectrum of sunlight, and properly control the temperature and humidity to produce periodic precipitation on the sample, to obtain the results of sunlight, humidity and temperature damage to polymer materials (material aging including fading, loss of light, strength reduction, cracking, peeling, chalking and oxidation, etc.).
The light emitted by the xenon lamp reproduces the effects of sunlight very well, and the water spray system reproduces the effects of rain. The irradiation energy, temperature and humidity are controlled throughout the test cycle. Typical test cycles are usually xenon light irradiation at high temperatures and periodic rainfall; typical applications are in paint and coatings, automotive industry, plastic products, wood products, glue, etc.
Three different filter systems are optionally available to obtain spectra with different energy distributions.
A. Daylight filter: simulate the spectral distribution of ultraviolet and visible light from solar radiation (equivalent to outdoor direct sunlight), with *good correlation with most of the actual outdoor application environment, for testing materials for outdoor use, known as artificial climate aging test
B. Window glass filter: simulate the spectral distribution of ultraviolet and visible light of solar radiation through the window glass after 3mm (equivalent to the sunlight transmitted through the window glass), used to test indoor materials, known as artificial radiation exposure.
C. UV extension filter: allows the passage of UV light below the natural sunlight cut-off point (equivalent to sunlight without atmosphere), used to provide faster and harsher test conditions, called artificial climate accelerated aging test.
