GB4706 Needle Flame Tester
The GB4706 needle flame tester tests the surface spark discharge ability of the fixed electrical insulating material when it is wet, and determines its comparative tracking index CTI and tracking index PTI. It is suitable for the evaluation of the tracking resistance of insulating materials used in humid environments, and insulating structural parts of motors, electrical appliances and household appliances. Tracking refers to the phenomenon that a carbonized conductive path is formed on the surface of the insulator where there is a potential difference, causing it to lose its insulating properties.

1. Needle burner: inner hole Φ 0.5mm ± 0.1mm, outer diameter ≤ Φ 0.9mm, length ≥ 35mm, stainless steel
2. Burner angle: inclined 45° (when testing) or vertical (when adjusting flame height)
3. Ignition time: 0-999.9s±0.1s adjustable (generally 30s)
4. Burning time: 0-999.9s±0.1s, automatic recording, manual pause
5. Flame height: 12mm ± 1mm (with height measuring device)
6. Application gas: 95% butane gas (can use bottled lighter gas)
7. Temperature test range: 0~1000℃
