Martindale Abrasion Tester - Nine Heads

The Martindale Abrasion Tester can test the abrasion resistance and pilling performance of various plants. Under a certain pressure, the sample and the specified abrasive are subjected to continuous reversing friction, and the wear and pilling degree is evaluated by comparing with the standard parameters. Touch screen control with full-featured programmer, pre-programmed batch and total counts, individually set counts for each test head; selectable 4 speeds including standard speed.

The working principle of Martindale abrasion tester:
Under a certain pressure, the circular fabric sample and the standard abrasive rub against each other according to the movement trajectory of the Lissajous curve, resulting in the damage of the sample.
