The main purpose:
Carpet combustion tester/carpet flame retardant tester is used to detect the burning effect of small fire sources on carpets to evaluate the flammability and flame retardant properties of carpets when subjected to small flames, suitable for various tissue structures and fiber components rug.
Applicable standard:
GB/T 11049, GB/T 14768, BS4790, ISO6925, BS6307, US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) CFR1630/1631
Test principle:
Under the specified conditions, the samples in the horizontal position were exposed to the action of a small fire source, namely hexamethylenetetramine tablets (hereinafter referred to as tablets), and the damage length and flame spread time after the test were measured.
