Martindale Abrasion Tester Scope of Application.
This instrument is used for pilling test and fabric abrasion resistance test on fabric, skin, simulated skin, carpet, non-woven etc. With pneumatic or manual system sample clamps for 4 or 6 test heads.
　　
Martindale abrasion resistance tester product description.

The instrument is suitable for:GB/T4802.2, ASTM D4970, ISO12945-2 and other fabric pilling and pilling degree test. Its principle: round specimen and the same material fabric under a given pressure, to Lissajous graphic movement track for friction, to reach the specified number of revolutions, assess the specimen pilling pilling grade. It is also applicable to GB/T13775, ASTM D4966, ISO12947 and other fabric abrasion resistance tests.
